Macadamia Nut BiscuitsIt can be hard to find healthy and tasty snacks like these Macadamia nut biscuits.  Tasty and healthy snacks and dips are out there, but just like any food, it is always about moderation.

These types of biscuits are perfect to snack on when you are on the go.  All you need to do is through a couple into a small container in your bag, so you have something to reach for.

Macadamia Nut Biscuits


  • ½ cup self-rising flour
  • 100g butter, melted and cooled
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ½ cup dextrose
  • 125 g macadamia nuts
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • Vanilla essence


  1.  Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with paper.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl, add the macadamia nuts.
  3. Mix together, the egg, butter and vanilla, pour into the dry ingredient.
  4. Roll dessertspoonful into a ball and press onto the lined tray.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes.
