Jaffa Biscuits

Jaffa biscuits recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup dextrose
  • ¾ cup plain flour
  • ¼ cup of cocoa
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 150g butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated orange rind

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with paper.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl. Combine the wet ingredients and orange rind, then add to the dry mixture.
  3. The mixture should resemble biscuit crumbs but stick together when pressed. If it won’t stick together, add a little more melted butter.
  4. Cook for 45 minutes.
