One-Pot Turkey Chilli

One pot Turkey chilliSome times we get busy, and just want to throw everything into a pot for cooking.  Try this fantastic one-pot turkey chilli recipe, it’s a great recipe that’s easy to make.  You have no excuse as all you really need to do is throw it all in one pot.

It is worth keeping turkey in your diet as its a great source of healthy lean protein.  If you are serious about losing weight, then skip the skin. The best turkey for you will be high in protein, but low in fat and calories.

A turkey slice is a good source of phosphorus and vitamin B12. It is also a very good source of niacin, vitamin B6, and selenium.

One-Pot Turkey Chilli recipe

Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
200 g turkey mince
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 can kidney beans
1 teaspoon chilli powder
Large dollop low-fat sour cream.
1 fresh chilli, chopped
1 small capsicum, chopped

Method

1. Heat some olive oil in a large pan.

2. Fry the onion and garlic over medium-high heat.

3. Add the chilli powder and fresh chilli and fry for a few minutes more to create a spicy paste.

4. Add the mince to the pan, breaking up with a wooden spoon to cook through; 7-8 minutes

5. Stir in the tomatoes with their juice and the kidney beans. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
